Welcome to the second comprehensive renewable energy workshop in Mediterranean and Middle East Regions! The successful students receive a "Completion Certificate" with 7,5 ECTS.

Dear Colleagues and Students
The First European Workshop on Renewable Energy Systems (EWRES) was completed very successfully. The event included the cutting-edge renewable energy explorations and teaching activities. 25 students from EU universities and Turkey were certified and got course credits defined by the ECTS. 21 teaching staff including the guest lecturers gave specific lectures on renewable energy technologies. In addition, 80 full-text papers and 38 abstracts were presented by at least 80 scientists.
The second ERASMUS event will take place within an ERASMUS education project. The successful students will receive 7,5 ECTS course credits, which is also valid in the universities. In addition to course credits, the present and future perspectives on the renewable energy problems will be discussed by the experts and the advanced courses on the multidisciplinary energy topics will be presented during two weeks. On the first 3 days of workshop, the scientists all over the world can present their researches. Therefore EWRES is open not only to the European scientists but also to everyone. Some keynote speakers will also contribute at the presentations part in this manner.
The main topic of the second event will be "A true route to future", which will discuss the new options of renewables
in order to provide a better future for the humanity. In this year's event, the best papers, which are presented in the workshop will
be published in different special issues of the journals below:
- Sustainable Cities and Society ,
- Low-Carbon Technologies ,
- International Journal of Renewable Energy Technology
The papers will be directed to these journals according to the appropriate topics and peer-reviewed by the editorial teams. The workshop has a number of social and cultural activities in
addition to the theoretical work and practices during 10 days. Visiting the different historical places from Roman, Ottoman and Seljuks time,
listening Turkish music can be counted.
We would like to invite everyone, who works on the renewable energy systems. We wish that this event will shed a light on the improvement of much efficient energy solutions for future generations and produce an energy network on the way of renewable world. We are looking forward to seeing you at the second event.
